Zack McArthur
Executive Coach and Team Development Consultant
Zack is a Leadership and Team Development consultant with more than 10 years of hands-on experience using the Action Design methodology to improve team performance and leadership effectiveness.
He was coached extensively in the Action Design methodology while leading Business Development teams in the tech sector as a manager, senior manager, and director. In those roles, he used the framework to build highly collaborative teams, train managers, and work strategically with the executive team and cross-functional groups. He led multiple team turnarounds in high-growth environments. Today, he helps leaders apply the same methods to solve complex organizational challenges and lead with greater confidence and skill in high-stakes moments.
While earning his Master’s degree in Organizational and Leadership Psychology, Zack wrote his thesis on how the mindsets and skill sets taught by Action Design can promote cultures of learning, psychological safety, and effective collaboration across differences. He also explored how visualization practices help coaches reinforce new habits and behaviors with their clients.
Zack is particularly interested in how mindfulness practices support the emotional and cognitive capacity required to navigate difficult conversations and high-stakes leadership moments. He actively integrates mindfulness and breathwork into his coaching practice.
Zack holds a Master’s degree in Organizational and Leadership Psychology from William James College and is a Leadership Agility Certified Coach through ChangeWise.
